Locally Owned and Brewing Perfection
Keswick Coffee House is owned by Pam McCarthy, who is a long-time local in the area. Supporting local businesses has become a popular way for people to really connect with the types of products that they’re interacting with. Pam can be described as an eclectic type and it definitely comes through in the shop itself. Unlike most polished and corporate-style cafes, Keswick Coffee House is styled like a second home and is extremely welcoming to anyone who would like to come and stay awhile. Really, there is no better atmosphere for enjoying a hot cup of something tasty.
On top of being owned by a local connoisseur of coffee, the coffee beans she uses also come from a local roastery, Green Street Roasters. Green Street Roasters comes from South Philadelphia and comes to Keswick Coffee House within a day of being roasted. If you like good coffee, you’ll really love the fresh and flavorful taste of these beans. Green Street is a small batch company and really prides itself on sourcing from fair trade and organic farms. The founders believe that “coffee is either ‘something’ or ‘nothing’” and their single-origin coffee is definitely something.
