Our Favorite Wedding Venues!

Wedding Venues

There’s a lot of planning that goes into making your wedding day perfect. You’ll need to draft and send invitations, secure a photographer, and most likely hire a floral designer. Perhaps the most important part of your wedding day is the setting. When you’re flipping through catalogs and social media, you’ve probably noticed that there are a number of great venues to host your wedding in the area.

That’s why we wanted to help local couples with their wedding plans. So, keep reading to learn about three of our favorite wedding venues around Jenkintown, Abington, and Lower Southampton Township.

Cescaphe

Ballroom WeddingDid someone say classy? We were taken aback upon seeing the Cescaphe main ballroom, as its luxurious setup can accommodate up to 300 guests. This building actually used to be a premier movie theater from the golden age of cinema. With vaulted ceilings, antiqued brass hardware, pearl-covered chandeliers, and a floor-to-ceiling bar, this ballroom will literally take your guests’ breath away.

If you’re looking for something a bit more cosmopolitan, the Tendenza is a contemporary wedding venue based on the industrial styling of New York City Lofts. You’ll be greeted with delicate glass chandeliers, striking steel beams, and an intimate candle-lit walk to the altar. Also, the space can seat up to 240 guests. For those who need an even bigger place than the Cescaphe and Tendenza, take a look at the Vie, which is a 600-person French-inspired ballroom.

Be sure to check out Cescaphe’s Facebook page to learn more about what they have to offer your wedding party.

Conroy Catering Company

Outdoor WeddingWhen you choose Conroy Catering Company, you should expect nothing but the best. They have two gorgeous venues to pick from. Whether you want an elegant wedding in the 19th-century Knowlton Mansion or an outdoor-indoor ceremony at Bridgemen’s Ballroom, Conroy has you covered. The mansion is absolutely stunning, complete with a wedding pergola, large cocktail terraces, and 13 acres of perennial gardens.

Walking into Bridgemen’s Ballroom, it’s quickly evident just how special your big day could be in such a warm space. Steel-enclosed, ambient chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a lush outdoor space and ceremony gazebo. Rest assured that all your wishes will be taken care of thanks to Conroy’s top-notch staff.

Journeys of the Heart

Wedding VenuesJourneys of the Heart isn’t really a venue. Rather, it’s an integral part of your wedding day, one that often can make or break the ceremony—the officiant. They have several nondenominational officiants who would be glad to work with you through the entire process of your wedding, from planning and rehearsal to the actual ceremony.

You’ll notice a few different plans that will offer various perks and assistance. The highest tier, the Platinum package, allows you to have a preliminary consultation, custom created ceremony, continuous email and phone contact, and a pre-wedding ceremony review. Their Emerald plan is the least involved and would be a good choice for simple elopements and military deployment ceremonies.
